Ideally, upon purchasing your vibration plate, you read the manual from front to back, and then put it away in a very safe place until you needed to use it. But what if you bought your vibration plate from somewhere else other than the manufacturer? Or what if, like most people, you simply misplaced it? Instruction and operation manuals can be a nuisance to store and manage but truthfully, you do need them in case something ever goes wrong with your vibration plate or you simply have a question about using it. So what do you do if you can’t find yours?
The first thing you need to do is remember whether you bought your vibration plate from the actual manufacturer, or a supplier. Many platforms, especially the big names like Power Plate and Vibra Pro, sell their plates to other suppliers who then in turn sell them to you. If you purchased your plate from a supplier, you’ll need to check with them first to see if they have any manuals lying around or if they have copies that they give to customers. If you purchased your vibration plate off an auction site such as eBay, or from another private seller, you might be out of luck and may need to contact the manufacturer for a manual.
Contacting the manufacturer is always the best bet, even if you didn’t buy your plate directly from them. However, it’s important that you do check with your supplier (if purchased through them) as the manufacturer of the plate might charge you for a manual if you didn’t purchase it directly through them. If you did however, then there should be no problem and they should be able to give you a manual free of charge.
Lastly, if you run out of luck with both the supplier and the manufacturer, do a search online for either the actual manual, or the problem you’re trying to correct. Lots of people have uploaded their manuals to provide people with help, and you might even find a YouTube tutorial on the concern that you have.
Either way, having a manual when you most need one is a huge help when it comes to your vibration plate, and if you’ve lost your original, we wish you the best of luck in finding one!
